Diamine's Passion Red is so much my favorite red ink that I've stopped looking for anything better. When my friend Ryan at Pear Tree Pens recently sent me samples of Rohrer & Klingner inks, I noticed that the Fernambuk (once swabbed) looked pretty similar to the Passion Red. Can't say for certain because I refuse to ink it. LOL! I am however, quite in love with the R&K Solferino (purple) & Magenta inks and they have a permanent spot on my shelf.

Have you tried J Herbin 1670 yet? Best red I've seen so far.
