Review: Diamine Crimson Fountain Pen Ink

Diamine Crimson - 60th Dimaine Ink Tested!

Diamine Crimson fountain pen ink. The 60th Diamine ink I've tested. Tested in a fine nibbed Sailor 1911 fountain pen. Paperblanks off-white ruled journal.

Like almost all 60 Diamine inks, great flow, moderate saturation and some shading.

Similar to J. Herbin's Rose Cyclamen though RC is more vibrant. Crimson is pinker than Claret, as Claret is redder. Deep Magenta is very close to Crimson though Crimson is a little darker.

Buy Diamine Inks in the UK at The Writing Desk or directly from Diamine and in the US from The Pear Tree Pen Company Ink is sold in 80ml glass bottles, 30 ml plastic bottles, and selected colors are available in cartridge form.

Thank you very much for this review. Sometimes the names of Diamine inks are a surprise. On my computer monitor, this ink looks the color of fuchsia blossoms. Now at all what I think of as crimson.
