Review: Diamine Steel Blue Fountain Pen Ink

Diamine Steel Blue

Diamine Old English Steel Blue fountain pen ink tested in a Paperblanks lined journal with off-white pages. EF Lamy Studio fountain pen.

To me, I see this color as teal. A greenish blue. Not sure I've seen or tried an ink this color. Very saturated, shading is difficult to see. Great flow.

Not sure what to make of this color - it's almost like another one of those colors that reminds me of a super vibrant children's marker. One that I can't seem to take seriously.

After having used it for a while, I am passing on it- but I know that I've heard from quite a few people that this is one of their favorite Diamine inks. It's just not for me.

This is the color I used to grab for in the Crayola 64 box! Must get a bottle.
