I took a trip to my local Blick store, shortly before X-mas. Walk in the front door, look to the right, and all you see is Moleskine.

Piles & piles of journals....

Quattro bu Hand*Book.

Took a look at the price on the book in the lower corner with the red band. I forget the brand, but it was $30! Yikes!

Lamali Passport Journals

My favorite row of watercolor papers. I love the Fabriano Artistico Hot Press on the top shelf. Arches watercolor paper? I have a hard time separating the sheet from the block and I often end up tearing the edges. Grrr. The Fabriano tears off easily from the block and you don't need to use a knife.

Middle row - my favorite Cachet watercolor linen covered books.

Those square Sennelier watercolor blocks would work GREAT with my mandala art!

Pastels

Faber Castell Pitt Brush Pens - Open Stock - Yaaaay! I LOVE these pens!

Markers galore. Stabilo 88's and Staedtler Triplus Fineliners.

Caran D' Ache Neocolor II water soluble crayons. I LOVE using these on black paper. Very saturated & vibrant colors!

Niji Waterbrushes. Portable painting!

So cool - thanks for sharing that!
No problem! I would have taken more, but my battery died. I was unprepared...
Holy cr@p, wow! ;-)
Stephanie, Wow! *gasp* it must have been unreal, I can only imagine dancing in the aisles and being overwhelmed by the selection! Thank you for sharing!
Blick now owes you more than a 40% discount. Great shots.
Pens and inks are bad enough so I am glad I don't live close to this store. I'd be broke for sure!
Oh! You're hurting me! There are moments when living on a pristine island has a few drawbacks ... seeing those photos and wanting to touch those journals is one!
Blick has become for Moleskine like REI is for outdoor gear. Window shop at Blick, but buy it on Amazon. Nice reminder, since they do have a few products that are tough to find online.
Speedmaster - yea...it's like that!
gypsy - there was a time when I would go up every Friday after work.... just walk around and touch things. Buy a Pitt Pen or two... some Indian hand made watercolor paper...
Ontheroad - Ha! Don't I wish...
inkophile - it's not that bad, once the novelty wears off. I guess I just take it for granted now.
zquilts - I'll trade ya!
Greg - it's where I bough my first one... it was a reporter.
